Other items you will need to complete this course.

We provide all documentation required to complete our CPL Law (A) course - within our course itself - except as detailed below.

You do not need to use any other text book to successfully pass the external exam.

You will need the following AIP publications;

  • C5/C6 Visual Navigation Chart - Bay of Plenty/Taranaki - For sample exam 1 and 2
  • C3/C4 Visual Navigation Chart - Auckland/Hawkes Bay - For sample exam 1 and 2
  • New Zealand AIP - Volume 4 - For sample exam 1 and 2
  • You will need your own copies of the New Zealand AIP - Volumes 1-4*. These must be purchased copies - not PDF downloads from the internet. You MAY be permitted to bring some of these into your external examination, however ASPEQ will confirm what you may bring in to your exam when you make your external examination booking with them.

*We recommend purchasing volumes 1-4 now. Volumes 2-3 contain IFR specific information which is not specifically required at CPL level - however, you will need these for your IFR Law course. They also provide good references for CPL law - thus why we suggest you purchase these now. These resources may be purchased from: https://shop.aeropath.aero.
